An interactive way to travel

Our adventures are for a Funky type of travelers.  Adventurous people who do not expect things to be easy and that are nor afraid to get off the beaten tracks and out of the usual tourist route.
 

When you travel with us, you are expected to contribute, show interest and participate in the trip you are in. This is what WE expect from an interactive adventure. The outcome of this trip could becomes a reflection of you.

If you are the type of person that wants to sit back and have everything on a silver plate, this is not your place. Try Club Med.  If you are used to other tour companies who have it all planned out for you everyday of the trip in a big tour bus...this is definitely not the trip for you. There will be free time and moments for you to decide and act on your own and do your thing. You may have to read your travel book and answer questions for yourself.   We're here to help but not to hold hands. That's the spirit in which we travel by. We hope this trip will help you see and understand a more intimate and authentic side of the countries you choose to visit with us.

We define an interaction as: To show interest in the environment we are visiting, to receive, learn and share with local culture.

If you are an independent traveler, fun to be around and if you  have a genuine interest in the places you are going to visit then you belong with us and we will be  more then happy to have you along. 

 
We travel in intimate groups, most of our trips carry no more then 10 travelers plus guides.  These small groups allow us to attract less attention, offer more safety on the road,  independence and flexibility in our schedule.  As a small group we can interact more freely with the local people around us. 

Everyone is welcome to bring their ideas.  We think of Funky Tours as a group of friends traveling together. And nothing like a typical guided tour,  we hope everyone can contribute to make this trip a great one.  

This  philosophy permits us to be more sensitive to the local culture and the families we visit.  We are privileged to  have access to places and events not available to larger groups.

Funky Tours presents :   Your new home      There's nothing like a private car to stop and adventure wherever and whenever you want to. And, since we travel like family, we all decide what we do and where we break. We don't pretend to be as comfortable as your living room... But the scenery will certainly be breathtaking. There is  so much to see in-between popular (tourist) areas and we will be proud to show you "our" little secret places. Most of them are well worth the drive.

 

Try to be independent

Because you don't want to count on someone else for the rest of your life

We  believe that we must learn to be travelers, to make independent decisions, take risks and sometimes be wrong. It's all part of the the traveling game.  We will encourage you to explore and experiment  in the new world around you.
