Arrival: Cancun
Arrival: Cancun airport.  We will lodge in Playa del Carmen near Cancun.
Activities: Enjoy the magnificent white beaches of Playa del Carmen. A group dinner will be organized for all participants to meet.  (None of the activities we propose are mandatory. You are always free to do whatever you would like)
Driving: 40 min. from the Cancun airport to Playa del Carmen.

Day 2

The Cenotes and the Tulum ruins
Activities: Visit the Tulum Ruins and snorkel the Cenotes (Natural water wells often found in a cave like formation) Night spent in Tulum by the Caribbean sea.
Info: Guided visit of Tulum included. Snorkeling gear extra. ($5)

The beaches of Tulum
Activities Enjoy the white, virgin beaches of Tulum and time off to do whatever you enjoy. (diving, fishing, parks....)
Info: All our trips have flexible itineraries and it is always possible to make changes to the schedule.  For the singles trips, there will be 2 minibuses available to split the groups for different daily activities.  One group can go visit the island of Cozumel and another can visit ruins for example.

Palenque and the ruins
Activities Driving to Palenque, Chiapas and through typical villages on the way. We will spend the night at a hotel in the jungle.  You may hear the monkeys howling in the jungle at night...
Info: Group dinner at the Don Mucho restaurant.  Live music, drums and fire dancing every night.
Driving: 8 hours total

Palenque and the ruins
Activities A guided visit of Palenque with an archeologist. The site is located inside a tropical forest and surrounded by beautiful waterfalls.  Don't forget your swimming gear...  Party at night, just like almost every other night.

The Lacandon forest (Border to Guatemala)
Activities Visit the ruins of Yaxchilan and a night in the indigenous village of La Canja by the river.
Info: We will lodge in rustic cabins by the river. There is the possibility to stay an extra day for a rafting expedition.

The Yaxchilan archeological site is only accessible by boat and located well beyond civilization. A 60 min. ride on the Usumacinta river will get us to the ancient Mayan site with monkey sentinels.

The cabins are located by the light blue La Canja river, exclusively reserved for the members of the hotel.  We can spend the evening relaxing under candle light and delicious local Tequila.

San Cristobal and the Lagunas de Montebello
Activities Drive to San Cristobal with a stop at the Montebello Lagunas
Info: The Lagunas de Montebello are known to be one of Mexico's wonders.  7 of them have different colors surrounded by an impressive landscape.

Saturday night... Lets go out at the Blue Bar...  Live music and more.

San Cristobal and the indigenous communities of San Juan Chamula
Activities Take the morning off to visit San Cristobal and then visit the indigenous villages in the afternoon. Evening to visit San Cristobal and maybe even go out again... If you dare.
Info: Meet with a local indigenous Tzoltil family in their home of Zinacantan.

All our activities are optional and you can select another activity of your choice.

Day 9

San Cristobal and the Sumidero Canyon
Activities The Sumidero Canyon. A 2 hour boat ride by boat through a fantastic 800 meter high canyon. You should see monkeys, crocodiles and caves.  Time off to visit the town of Chiapa de Corzo and then back to San Cristobal in the afternoon.

The Agua Azul waterfalls and Palenque
Activities An unforgettable day swimming in the blue waters of Agua Azul.  Arrival in Palenque in the evening after a visit to the 30 meter  Misol-Ha waterfalls.
Info: Dinner in the jungle and party once more if you are willing.

Drinking tequila accompanied by nice fellow travelers is also an optional activity

The Palenque jungle
Activities A day off to relax and visit waterfalls or the Palenque jungle.

The colonial city of Mérida
Activities Drive to Merida and night out to visit the colonial city.

Chichen Itza and the beaches of Playa del Carmen
Activities The last journey... to the beach. With a stop to the Chichen Itza ruins on the way.
Info: It's possible here to form a group that will go to Chichen Itza and another that will return early to Playa del Carmen and enjoy the beaches for a longer afternoon in the sun.

Important message to future clients

This singles adventure tour is a great occasion to experience a fantastic journey to Mexico while meeting interesting people inside or outside the group.  For us, a singles trip is meant to encourage meeting someone, but not making it the first pre-occupation of the vacation. Participant can very well choose to remain single.
